Fedora 6 on Dell C400
I am working on setting up this laptop as my backup server. It has an amazing advantage as being portable Linux workstation. Besides the servers that I’ll need in the event of a disaster, it also has a full suite of office applications. I am tempted to use this as a work computer just to see if it would do the job sufficiently.
At MOT, there are a few Windows applications that are must have. It will be interesting to see if the apps run under Wine.

We continue to get snow here in northern Illinois. Last night added another inch or so. Fortunately warm weather reduced the depth of the already fallen white stuff.
